Role ResponsibilitiesThis unique position combines the responsibilities of a Care Worker with those of a Maintenance Officer, primarily focusing on aged care services. You will also provide support to maintenance personnel during their absences.
This role allows you to enhance your skill set across various disciplines, with a strong emphasis on care. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills for both maintenance tasks and care support.
Your responsibilities will include delivering care, companionship, and emotional support to residents, thereby promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life through:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mealtime support, and mobility assistance.
- Helping with medication management and basic wound care.
- Encouraging participation in community-based recreational and social activities.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or a comparable qualification. If you are not yet qualified but are eager to pursue this path, we can assist you in achieving your goals.
Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, though a genuine passion for starting a career in aged care is also valued. We seek individuals who are adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, embodying our core values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
