Key ResponsibilitiesIn this innovative position, you will function as a Care Worker while also providing essential support to maintenance personnel during their absences. Your primary focus will be on aged care within our facilities, alongside fulfilling the duties of a Maintenance Officer as required.
This role offers a unique chance to enhance your skill set across multiple disciplines, with a strong emphasis on care. We are dedicated to providing our team members with comprehensive training, equipping you with the necessary skills for both maintenance tasks and care support responsibilities.
Your contributions will include delivering care, companionship, and emotional support to residents in our aged care facility, aimed at promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life through:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal support, and mobility assistance.
- Administering medication and performing basic wound care.
- Encouraging residents to participate in community-based recreational and social activities.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification. If you are not currently qualified but aspire to be, we are here to assist you in achieving your goals.
Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, although a genuine interest in starting a career in aged care is also welcomed. You should be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, embodying the values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
