Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking experienced therapeutic support professionals to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with disabilities. Our purpose is to help individuals achieve their full potential.
Deliver life-changing support that improves independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance quality of life and meet goals.
As a Therapeutic Support Professional, you will:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with disabilities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised plans.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
