Job Description
The Role
We are currently recruiting Disability Support Workers to deliver participant-focused, high-quality support services under the guidance of our partner SIL providers.
You'll play a key role in empowering NDIS participants to lead meaningful, autonomous lives—providing respectful, hands-on assistance in daily living and community participation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support participants with daily living, personal care, and routines
- Encourage choice, independence, and decision-making
- Administer or assist with medication in line with care plans
- Follow and implement Behaviour Support Plans and risk management strategies
- Assist with mobility, transport, outings, and community access
- Maintain a safe, abuse-free environment
- Complete admin duties including progress notes, timesheets, reports, and documentation
- Communicate professionally with participants, providers, and your DESF manager
Desired Skills and Experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Training Modules
- Valid CPR & First Aid
- Medication Competency/Administration
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work both independently and in teams
- Understanding of WHS and disability support compliance
- Experience working in SIL or NDIS-related environments
- Comfortable with digital systems and completing shift documentation
