Job Description

Grandma Moses Bakery, a kosher bakery, seeks an experienced Pastry Cook to join its team. The successful candidate will prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with the executive chef to plan menus and execute pastry orders for catered events.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality pastry products, including baked goods, desserts, and confectionery.
  • Train and supervise pastry section staff and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor equipment and ensure all specialized pastry baking tools are in working order.
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • AQF Certificate III or higher qualification and at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience or at least three years of relevant experience.

Salary Package

  • $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
