Job Description:

To develop a high-level operating model for the strategic implementation of a biobank framework, ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders. This involves providing high-level support in the strategic implementation of the program, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To research business case recommendations and papers related to Biobank projects and initiatives impacting compliance, safety, and efficiency in using and maintaining Faculty Biobank facilities.
  • To identify and analyze emerging risks to Biobank facilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

About You:

  • You should have excellent writing and communication skills, with experience in writing and curating business reports and procedures.
  • A solid understanding of biobank governance requirements is essential.
  • Demonstrable project coordination skills, experience with change plans and programs are required.
  • Familiarity with state and federal laws related to biobanking is necessary, including NSW Human Tissue Act and NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
  • You must possess accuracy, attention to detail, planning and analysis skills, along with problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement is required.
