About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and supporting colour and black-and-white print production equipment, as well as associated software and service solutions.

This role involves working within a team of dedicated technicians, reporting directly to the State Service Delivery Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through on-site corrective and preventative maintenance of customer equipment.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Technical expertise in high-volume production printing, digital presses, or similar equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of print workflows, colour quality, and finishing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A genuine commitment to continuous learning and technical development.

Essential requirements include:

  • Technical field service experience, ideally with production printers, digital presses, or high-volume print systems.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of network connectivity, print servers, and production print environments.
  • Proven ability to perform in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments.
  • Valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and AGSVA Security Clearance (preferred).
  • Flexibility to participate in an after-hours standby roster, including weekends as required.
  • Willingness to travel interstate for product training and development.
  • Current Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available).
  • Availability for an in-person interview at our Brisbane office.
