Job Title: IT Events Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Events Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations at our events, providing technical support to our staff and stakeholders, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

  • Provide on-site IT support at our events
  • Install and maintain points of sale equipment, including PCs, printers, and EFTPOS terminals
  • Administer and maintain our ticketing IT infrastructure and access control systems
  • Coordinate the installation, support, and maintenance of I.T. collateral as required
  • Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance of internal and external client equipment and infrastructure
  • Record changes made to network or device configuration in the appropriate diagrams or databases
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in IT administration, with a focus on Windows Desktop or similar hands-on experience in a technician and/or support specialist role
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Windows 10/11 and server 2016 or greater
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL 2017 or greater
  • Cisco networking experience demonstrated by suitable qualification
  • Broad network (LAN/WAN) and server experience
