Newly created Manager Workplace Relations role within Tasmanian Organisation
**Your new company**
Join a GOE and Tasmanian organisation as their next Manager of Workplace Relations. Operating as a member of the People, Safety and Senior Leadership team, you will collaborate with the business and wider leadership teams to successfully plan for, negotiate and implement industrial agreements while coordinating consultation change processes of strategic importance.
**Your new role**
In this position, you will provide specialist advice to implement contemporary human resource strategies, practices, policies and projects that comply with legislative requirements and relevant Awards or Enterprise Agreements and that ultimately support and ensure effective management of human resources in a complex environment.
You will consider legislation and best practice, design, develop and implement the provision of specialist strategic advice and expertise on employment and workplace relations matters, including injury management, to the Executive Leadership Team and other leaders. By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and capabilities. A tertiary qualification in law, human resources, industrial relations or equivalent and proven work experience in a similar field. You will have strong negotiation and advocacy abilities, with experience in settling disputes and developing industrial arrangements as well as representing organisations and presenting submissions at industrial and employment related tribunals and other forums.
You will also possess high-level strategic, conceptual, research, analytical, judgement and creative skills with the proven ability to provide authoritative advice, and shape strategic thinking and influence at the executive and management level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are crucial for building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
