Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the full cycle of import and export activities while providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth operational flow. Your main duties will include:

Coordinating import and export shipments across multiple international markets, including the USA, China, Poland, Thailand, Korea, and Taiwan

Liaising with freight forwarding partners to manage logistics and ensure timely delivery

Monitoring and updating ETA trackers and preparing basic operational reports

Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, biosecurity, and quarantine requirements
-
Supporting local sales and customer service teams with administrative tasks
-
Assisting with logistics and administration for a remote mining and processing site, including occasional travel
-
Managing documentation related to sourcing finished products and distribution
-
Maintaining accurate records and providing general admin support within a lean team environment
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and adaptability to thrive in this dynamic import/export role. Key qualities and skills include:

Strong understanding of import/export regulations, biosecurity, and quarantine rules

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus

Experience managing full container loads and coordinating complex logistics

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports

Comfortable working independently with initiative and autonomy in a lean team setting

Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional after-hours calls with international partners

Ability to provide effective administrative support to sales, customer service, and remote site teams

Reliable home office setup and readiness to work in a hybrid environment with flexible attendance

Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
