We're seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support and maintain our expanding IT infrastructure.
MyState is now a larger and more diverse regional banking group following its merger with Auswide Bank, and we're seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support and maintain our expanding IT infrastructure. As part of a unified organisation operating under four brands, MyState Bank, Auswide Bank, SelfCo, and TPT Wealth, you’ll help ensure secure, stable, and efficient technology operations across our national footprint.
In this role, you’ll provide second-level technical support, assist with server and network administration, and contribute to infrastructure monitoring, documentation, and disaster recovery planning. You’ll also support internal and external services, telephony systems, and basic cybersecurity monitoring, all while delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver remote and onsite technical support across server, network, and end-user environments.
- Administer and monitor infrastructure systems to ensure reliability and security.
- Maintain system documentation and contribute to asset lifecycle management.
- Support infrastructure hosted internally and externally, including WAN and telephony.
- Assist with threat monitoring, change management, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely service delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- 2–3 years’ experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) desirable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service desk environments.
Why join MyState Group?
Following our merger with Auswide Bank, we’ve become a stronger, more agile financial services group and a growing digital and broker network across Australia’s eastern seaboard. Our IT team is central to delivering seamless banking experiences and supporting our strategic growth, including digital transformation and infrastructure optimisation.
If you’re ready to grow your career in a dynamic, customer-focused organisation and help shape the future of regional banking, we’d love to hear from you.
Employment with MyState is subject to background checks including Bankruptcy, Police, and Credit checks to verify your suitability to work in the finance sector. We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive work environment where everyone is valued.
