About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administration Officer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Bundaberg. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for providing administrative support across our recruitment and payroll functions. We require a team member who has a genuine interest in developing knowledge across all areas to become an integral part of business operations.
What you'll be doing
- Providing administrative support for the recruitment process, including coordinating candidate communications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of payroll, including data entry, reviewing timesheets, and responding to employee inquiries
- Maintaining and updating employee records and documentation, ensuring files are fully compliant
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining stock orders
- Provide an exceptional standard of customer service to clients and candidates
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within a recruitment or payroll function
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain detailed records and documentation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a willingness to contribute to the success of the team
- Australian work rights are required for this position
