About the Position
We are seeking a Manager Information Governance to lead the development, implementation, delivery and support of the SBDC information management strategies, functions, policies and procedures. This position administers the SBDC record management system and provides training, support and guidance on information governance practices to all employees. The role is responsible for ensuring the SBDC complies with relevant legislation and Government policies relating to information management and for providing advice on any legislative changes and industry developments. This position also manages and coordinates the day‑to‑day duties of a part‑time Senior Information Management Officer.
This position is full time and is fixed‑term, commencing early December 2025 to 25 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, delivery and support of the SBDC information management strategies, functions, policies and procedures.
- Administer the SBDC record management system and provide training, support and guidance on information governance practices to all employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Government policies relating to information management and advise on legislative changes and industry developments.
- Manage and coordinate the day‑to‑day duties of a part‑time Senior Information Management Officer.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong demonstrated knowledge and experience working within an information management environment with a focus on relevant legislation, electronic record‑keeping systems, policy and processes.
- Well‑developed conceptual and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly developed relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Valid Australian citizen, permanent resident or valid visa (for fixed‑term appointments) or indefinite visa, and valid working visa if applicable.
