Overview

As the Assistant Accountant you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and Senior Financial Accountant. This role forms an integral support function to the finance team in the preparation and reporting of financial information. You will take ownership of the following responsibilities:

- Bank Reconciliations
- Fixed Asset Register
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Assisting with Month-End and Year-End processes
- Accounts Payable & Receivable support
- Tax Compliance Assistance (BAS & FBT Lodgements)
- Reporting & Analysis
- Compliance & Internal Controls

Who you are

- +2years of demonstrated relevant experience within property or similar industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
- CA or CPA part-qualified (essential)
- Experience with large ERP and EMS (Netsuite & Concur highly regarded)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
