What will you do?
Exciting times at Target Australia As our Marketing team continues to expand, we’re thrilled to announce a brand-new opportunity for a Content Producer/ Content Creator to join us on this journey. We’re also relocating to a stunning new office in Chadstone, the fashion capital of Australia—the perfect backdrop for creativity and collaboration.
We’re looking for a dynamic Content Producer / Content Creator to join Target’s Brand & Marketing Creative team. This is a hands-on hybrid role that combines creativity with production expertise, delivering platform-relevant content that excites our customers and elevates our brand.
You’ll be the driving force behind social-first content production, balancing creative thinking with production logistics. From planning and shooting to editing, coordinating and delivering assets, you’ll bring Target’s brand to life across social, digital and in-store channels. With one direct report, you’ll also play a key leadership role in building capability within the team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing in-house creative team, working closely with Social Media Managers, PR, Designers and Art Directors to create work that’s relevant, customer focussed and social-first.
As a Content Producer / Content Creator at Target, you’ll do:
- Content Production & Delivery: Plan, produce and deliver high-quality content across digital, social and in-store platforms.
- Shoot Planning & Logistics: Coordinate talent, locations and schedules while ensuring smooth production workflows.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with Art Directors, Designers, and Social teams to develop fresh, engaging ideas.
- Hands-On Creation: Shoot and edit videos, build lo-fi social content, design static and animated assets.
- Project Coordination: Manage timelines and resources, ensuring every deliverable is on-brand, on-time and fit-for-platform.
- Video Editing: Create short-form lo-fi video content (TikTok, Reels, paid social), edit and animate using Premiere Pro and After Effects, and colour grade for quality.
- Brand Guardianship: Ensure all content aligns with Target’s creative guidelines and delivers a cohesive customer experience.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is both creative and organised, a maker and a planner, equally comfortable brainstorming content ideas and managing the details to make them happen.
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in content creation, production or digital design in a marketing studio or agency.
- Proven ability to produce social-first, lo-fi content that resonates with customers.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro and After Effects).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of social media formats, trends and best practice.
- Intermediate skills in photography, videography and editing.
- Experience planning shoots and coordinating talent, locations and suppliers.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse marketing and creative team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
