The Role

CBH are seeking a motivated and driven Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to support the Kwinana South region on a fixed term basis until February 2027, reporting to the National Accumulations Manager.

The CBH Business Relationship Management (BRM) network is on-hand to act as a conduit between the Marketing and Trading division of CBH and the grower members of CBH by being the local, on the ground person to ensure that up to date, relevant information is being provided.

The position is responsible for grower-facing activities within the Marketing and Trading (M&T) arm, including grain accumulation for cash trading and structured commodity products (pools), local management of grower finance products, marketing and lead generation of CBH Fertiliser products, and reporting on crop conditions, grower sentiment, and market intelligence. It also involves assisting with maintaining a consistent BRM service level across the state.

We build and maintain grower relationships through solid business support, regular communication, sharing information about our products, listening and responding to grower needs.

Location: Currently located at the CBH Corrigin Office, covering areas including Brookton, Pingelly, York, Quairading and south of Northam and Cunderdin. There may be opportunities to work from other CBH Area Offices located within the defined region, including the Avon Area office at Northam.

This role will involve regular travel to other locations from within the designated region, throughout WA, and potentially interstate or overseas.

Responsibilities include:

- Grain acquisition activities including provision of sales and information services to grain industry participants within the assigned region
- Regular contact with growers on farm in order to understand their business and identify opportunities for creating value specific to their individual needs
- Promotion of CBH Group’s grain marketing suite of products including financial services
- Reporting on conditions of current crops and trends in agronomic practices
- Undertaking public relations activities as required
- Sales management of CBH Fertiliser products within region
- Management of CBH Financial Products and Services within region

About You:

- Understanding of grain grower business cycles including contracting and grain finance requirements
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed relationship management and influencing skills
- Sound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance & ASIC check
- A valid Australian Drivers licence
- Tertiary qualifications in Agribusiness, Business or Finance
- Familiarity with grain accumulation products
- Demonstrated ability to understand and market products
- Understanding of grain production trends, issues and opportunities
- RG146 (AFSL) Generic Knowledge
