About the Role

Our Sessional Suite reception is looking for a casual Administration officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

You will be required to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays in general and is willing to work extra hours and days to cover staff leaves.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a well-presented and proactive individual with:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

- Proven administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or customer service setting.

- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.

- A commitment to teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

- Admission scheduling processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation.

- Managing incoming and outgoing calls.

- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.

- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.

- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.

Additional Desired Experience

- Previous medical reception and ward clerk experience preferred.

- Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.

- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
