About the role

We have an opportunity for a Manager - Psychosocial Risk to be part of our PULSE, Safety & Risk Management Command, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The Manager – Psychosocial Risk is responsible for the corporate governance related to psychosocial risk hazards in the NSWPF. The role will assist the executive with their immediate, positive and proactive duty to exercise due diligence to ensure the organisation complies with the WHS Act and WHS Regulation.

The successful applicant will work with a unique team of Police and Health Professionals to proactively identify and manage psychosocial hazards within NSWPF, ensuring the ongoing safety of employees of NSWPF.

Police officers are regularly exposed to a wide variety of occupational hazards throughout their working day. Provide an outline of your understanding of the psychosocial hazards faced by Police employed by New South Wales Police Force.

Target Question 2:

Provide an example of when you have identified, developed, and implemented a change initiative/control in response to a psychosocial risk/hazard. In your example describe the risk/hazard, what actions you took to influence implementation, any challenges you encountered and the outcome.

Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
