Lead the creation of multimedia stories that showcase Swinburne’s people, research, and innovations. As News, Features and Content Integration Lead, you’ll shape the editorial direction of the Swinburne Newsroom, working across digital channels to craft and repurpose content that connects audiences with the impact of our work. Bring your creativity, content creation skills, and editorial expertise to a collaborative and high-performing team, telling the stories that make Swinburne unique.

Please note this role is anticipated to commence early January 2026.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Significant experience working in a similar role in a highly complex, large organization.
- Demonstrated excellence in communications strategy and planning.
- Excellent content production and editorial skills combined with an ability to work under time pressure to produce high quality communications materials.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to identify and analyze emerging opportunities with respect to their communication needs.

Qualifications

- A relevant tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations, social media or a related field or significant relevant industry experience.
