What is Build‑to‑Rent (BTR)?

The build‑to‑rent model in Australia is a new way of renting that offers long‑term security and flexible leases, with more options for tenants. Under BTR Australia, one organisation owns the entire building and the rental units are leased individually. This single‑ownership model allows secure rental terms for residents while accessing the benefits of professional property management. BTR offers a premium experience to residents, with leasing flexibility, an easy move‑in process, on‑site management and an inclusion offer of a range of services and facilities to make your apartment your home (such as a gym, entertainment areas, outdoor dining and a pool to name a few).

Role Overview

As Leasing Agent, you’ll be at the forefront of creating exceptional leasing experiences and building lasting connections with residents and prospects alike. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving leasing outcomes through genuine engagement, expert guidance, and a commitment to delivering service that feels both personal and premium. From the first enquiry to move‑in day, you’ll ensure every step of the journey reflects care, professionalism, and our brand’s dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Build the ultimate resident experience that exceeds service expectations by implementing reassurance, memorable moments, and joy in a safe and stable environment.

- Support the delivery of the leasing strategy to meet occupancy, rent, and revenue targets while minimising vacancies.

- Follow company procedures and implement property procedures that improve operations.

- Deliver exceptional leasing experiences through responsive communication, engaging property tours, and personalised service.

- Maintain and nurture all enquiries within the CRM, ensuring accuracy, timely follow‑up, and alignment with brand and service standards.

- Assist in tenant onboarding, renewals, and lease execution while ensuring all processes meet NSW legislative requirements.

- Think outside the box to create a joyful work environment that reflects empathy and joy in resident interactions.

Your Property

Zetland is an urban oasis, design‑led BTR community based 5km south of the Sydney CBD. This development is situated at the centre of Zetland’s warehousing industry and features a six‑level mixed‑use property with 135 residences. Purpose‑built as a unified rental offering, the property boasts a sophisticated range of lifestyle amenities including a fully equipped gym, co‑working spaces, library, yoga lawn and communal terrace.

About You

With a background in Build‑to‑Rent, property, or hotels, you bring a strong customer‑first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. You’re an articulate communicator with the confidence to build genuine connections and the judgement to make sound, proactive decisions. Detail‑oriented and results‑driven, you take pride in exceeding targets and performance KPIs while maintaining precision across every aspect of your work. Your ability to manage multiple priorities with ease ensures a smooth and seamless leasing journey for every resident.

You hold a valid National Police Check, Working Rights, and a current licence to conduct Real Estate business in NSW.
