Position Description

The Assessment Officer (AO) works with the aged care assessment service multi-disciplinary team to provide non-clinical aged care assessments independently in a home or community setting, for older adult clients. The AO uses the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) and My Aged Care (MAC) systems to identify the care needs and eligibility of older people, supporting them to gain access to appropriate care, including Commonwealth Government subsidised aged care entry level services.
