About the Role:

We're offering a full-time opportunity for a proactive and detail-driven professional to join ourQuality team as aQuality Assurance Officer. Based at our Brisbane Head Office in Cannon Hill, this role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career, with a strong operational mindset and leadership capabilities.

Working Monday to Friday,6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, you'll lead daily operations, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Lead and support Quality Inspectors to deliver best practice outcomes.
- Oversee product inspections, returns, and vendor communications.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock movements across warehouses.
- Monitor departmental costs and drive cost recovery initiatives.
- Ensure operational activities are completed in a timey manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve product outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Michael Hill's Product Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
- Work closely with Quality Officers in Canada and New Zealand to ensure standardized product in all markets

What You'll Bring:

- A collaborative leadership style and strong problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
- Experience in team leadership and decision making.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics D365 is a plus.
- Tertiary qualifications in Quality or Inventory Management are highly regarded.
- All product and equipment training provided
