As our Team is ever expanding, and expanding rapidly, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Quality Assurance Officer to join our YouFoodz Team and help us facilitate and carry out on-the-floor Quality Assurance verification activities during night shift as well as assist with continuous improvement that keep us the very best in the business.

You will...

  • Monitor the verification activities of the Quality Controllers, including daily CCP audits, to ensure food safety and quality process requirements are met.
  • Highlight and address issues in real-time including raising corrective action reports for CCP breaches with QA officer – Systems and Continuous Improvement.
  • Conduct routine Quality Control verification tests on raw materials, in-process products and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with our Production Teams to identify and address quality issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Perform Internal Audits to assess compliance with quality procedures and take actions to improve performance.
  • Manage document control system to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical quality records and reports.
  • Develop and maintain Work Instructions for quality control and assurance processes.
  • Train and coach employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate customer complaints and work with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with our Management Team to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency operations.
  • Oversee general plant GMP and carry out GMP inspections to ensure staff and facilities are always compliant with the GMP policy.
  • Carry out pre-operational checks post cleaning to ensure cleaning has been effective whilst also raising corrective actions where major deviations from processes and procedures occur.

You have...

  • Minimum 1 year of Food Industry Experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Food Safety Principles including HACCP.
  • Practical competency with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
