About the role

The Service Delivery Manager – MHWCMS is responsible for leading a delivery team within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Client Management System (MHWCMS) program. This role will oversee the end-to-end implementation of the system across service providers, ensuring delivery is aligned with program timelines, budget constraints, and strategic objectives.

The position will manage a multidisciplinary delivery team, coordinating planning, execution, and monitoring activities to support successful implementation. A critical aspect of the role involves proactive stakeholder engagement—ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed, consulted, and supported throughout the delivery lifecycle. This includes managing expectations, facilitating clear communication, and addressing risks or issues as they arise.

The Service Delivery Manager will also be responsible for resource planning and allocation, vendor coordination, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure delivery readiness. The role requires strong leadership across cross-functional teams, with a focus on removing delivery barriers, maintaining momentum, and ensuring the program delivers high-quality outcomes for the mental health and wellbeing sector.

About you

Can you demonstrate the following?

- Manage one of the MHWCMS program delivery teams, ensuring successful implementation across service providers in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Direct and support a multidisciplinary delivery team, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve program objectives.

- Oversee detailed planning and scheduling of delivery activities. Manage resource allocation to ensure teams are adequately supported and equipped. Liaise with vendors and technical teams to ensure alignment of deliverables, resolve dependencies, and maintain delivery momentum.

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery. Implement corrective actions to avoid delays and ensure continuity.

Qualifications / Specialist Expertise

- An understanding of the Victorian health system, particularly Mental Health and Wellbeing, is desirable.

- Experience with digital project implementation is desirable.
