Overview

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries. Our services cover all aspects of a project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, constructions, commissioning and operational support.

We are currently seeking a driven and motivated Project Manager to join our growing project team based out of our Brisbane CBD office. The Project Manager's role is to effectively manage and deliver EPC or EPCM projects and achieve project key performance indicators which will focus on safety outcomes, achieving project schedule, project performance, financial outcomes and quality objectives. The work requires the coordination of a multi-disciplinary team comprising numerous internal disciplines. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and lead the culture on site for a large multidisciplinary team
- Overseeing all construction operations on site, leading the site works through its various stages from commencement to handover
- Drive budget, schedule and the overall delivery of the project
- Liaise with client representatives and maintain a good client-contractor relationship
- Enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are met
- Review site plans to ensure relevance to the project as construction work is progressed through to completion
- Understand and assess potential project risks and ensure mitigation measures are in place
- Ensure compliance with GRES/Client policies, company standards and safe work procedures

Skills/Qualifications

- Experience in a similar role, with at least 10 years experience in a Construction/ Project Management role
- Qualified professional engineering and/or trades skilled background
- Previous design management or construction management experience particularly in the mineral resource or materials handling industries
- Knowledge of current construction and mining industry safety legislation and standards
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Proven leadership skills
- Current National Police clearance
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
