Initial 6+ month contract with possible extension paying up to $910/day. Fortitude Valley Location with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week.

Our client, a large complex organisation within the Utilities sector, are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to start for their Azure Consumption Project.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of two projects:

- Azure Consumption project – Manage the transition to Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM), including the consolidation and transition of Power BI and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to Azure Fabric.
- Power Platform Pilot project - Manage the initial implementation of the Power Platform including foundational governance, ideation workshops with the business, and development of 2 automations.

This role involves contributing to all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for the two projects. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors, this role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.

Skills and experience required:

- Experience with Environment Compliance, Data and Analytics, Microsoft Azure and/or Power Platform highly regarded.
- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, vendor management and handling multiple projects.
- Ability to lead project teams, optimise resources, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Work well with business stakeholders to support implementation/rollout.
