Cairns, Australia ClearCompany Full time

We are proud to be partnering with QLD’s most successful development and construction organisations. This business has won numerous industry awards and set a new benchmark in luxury apartment living, while gaining a reputation for quality construction delivery and a standard of finish that has resulted in all their developments selling off the plan to both private investors and large funds-management groups.

As a cutting-edge business they are always looking for innovation and as a result they have formulated a new delivery framework – creating a revolutionary model in the traditional builder‑developer model.

The successful Project Manager will now be responsible for delivering a project from the early conceptual stage in development and take ownership through the planning and approvals phase – into construction delivery and the sales and marketing stages.

This hybrid model means the Project Manager is responsible for the project for the entire lifecycle of the development merging the development and construction phases.

Suitable Project Managers will have a solid background delivering projects as a contract administrator for a head‑contractor for 5‑10 years. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for :

Responsibilities

- Advising the Development Manager on buildability issues during concept stage
- Providing feedback to in‑house cost planner and design manager on design and cost issues that may arise
- Provide leadership and guidance to project‑based contract administrators on cost forecasting, variations, claims, and EOT’s
- Identify risks and opportunities and apply to the project programme and cost forecast

If you have been working as a Senior Contract Administrator or Project Manager in a building company and looking to expand your role into development and take full control of projects this is your chance to become a master of your own destiny.
