About the Role

VenuesWest is seeking a professional, experienced Project Officer to join our Capital Works Projects team. Reporting to the Manager Capital Works, the Project Officer supports the delivery of strategic and operational projects by working closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators, conducting research and preparing documentation, liaising with stakeholders, managing records and correspondence, and providing project-related advice. Strong organisational skills are key to success.

We are establishing a pool of suitable Project Officers to fill permanent and fixed‑term opportunities until 31 December 2026. The current fixed‑term, full‑time position is primarily based in Joondalup for a 12‑month period from December 2025 to December 2026, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

About the Person

We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative Project Officer who is passionate about contributing to initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations. The successful candidate will have high‑level skills in project and contract management, demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time and within budget, and have experience with capital works projects in government, sport, recreation or entertainment sectors.
