Position Overview

As a Site Services Person, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our site. This hands‑on role involves a variety of tasks including grounds maintenance, gardening, general cleaning, and basic security monitoring. Your work will contribute directly to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors, supporting our commitment to excellence in facility management.

Key Responsibilities

Grounds & Lawn Maintenance

- Operate and maintain ride‑on mowers and other grounds‑keeping equipment to ensure lawns and outdoor areas are well‑kept and presentable.

- Regularly mow lawns, trim edges along sidewalks and pathways, and maintain landscaped areas to enhance the site's visual appeal.

- Perform seasonal grounds‑keeping tasks such as pruning, weeding, mulching, and minor landscaping projects.

Cleaning

- Conduct general cleaning and sweeping of work areas, including outdoor spaces and communal zones.

- Ensure waste is properly disposed of and bins are regularly emptied and maintained.

Security Alarm Checks

- Perform routine checks to ensure security alarms are operational.

- Respond promptly to alarm activations or security concerns and elevate issues to the appropriate personnel as needed.

General Maintenance

- Carry out light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, addressing minor plumbing issues, and performing basic painting or repairs.

- Assist with setting up and maintaining site facilities as required.

Safety and Compliance

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment faults, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

- Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance, including the safe operation of ride‑on mowers and other landscaping equipment.

- Knowledge of general horticultural practices and outdoor facility upkeep.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks efficiently.

- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
