Position Overview
As a Site Services Person, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our site. This hands-on role involves a variety of tasks including grounds maintenance, gardening, general cleaning, and basic security monitoring. Your work will contribute directly to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors, supporting our commitment to excellence in facility management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Grounds & Lawn Maintenance

  2. Operate and maintain ride-on mowers and other grounds keeping equipment to ensure lawns and outdoor areas are well-kept and presentable.

  3. Regularly mow lawns, trim edges along sidewalks and pathways, and maintain landscaped areas to enhance the site's visual appeal.

  4. Perform seasonal grounds keeping tasks such as pruning, weeding, mulching, and minor landscaping projects.

  5. Cleaning

  6. Conduct general cleaning and sweeping of work areas, including outdoor spaces and communal zones.

  7. Ensure waste is properly disposed of and bins are regularly emptied and maintained.

  8. Security Alarm Checks

  9. Perform routine checks to ensure security alarms are operational.

  10. Respond promptly to alarm activation's or security concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel as needed.

  11. General Maintenance

  12. Carry out light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, addressing minor plumbing issues, and performing basic painting or repairs.

  13. Assist with setting up and maintaining site facilities as required.

  14. Safety and Compliance

  15. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

  16. Identify and report safety hazards, equipment faults, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance, including the safe operation of ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment.
  • Knowledge of general horticultural practices and outdoor facility upkeep.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
