Overview

About the role: This is your chance to join a well-established commercial construction contractor with a strong track record in plastering and an expanding portfolio in cladding, carpentry, and multi-unit residential builds. We’re looking for a confident and financially savvy Contracts Administrator ready to step into a varied role with the opportunity to grow as the business grows.

Responsibilities

- Manage contracts across multiple commercial projects from initiation through to completion

- Prepare variations, progress claims, RFIs, and compliance docs

- Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements

- Track budgets, cashflow, and provide cost reporting

- Coordinate procurement, purchase orders, and supplier approvals

- Liaise with builders, clients, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery

Skills & Experience

- 5+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in construction

- Strong knowledge of contracts, compliance, and financial reporting

- Solid background in forecasting, budgeting, and cost control

- Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Aconex, or similar)

- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and organiser

- Degree in Construction Management highly regarded
