The Lorne Hotel is situated a few hours outside of Melbourne along the beautiful and ever-popular Great Ocean Road. This multi-faceted hotel, situated just a few hundred meters from the beach, draws tourist crowds and locals alike for its food and location. The Role

This is a great opportunity in Lorne for quality and talented Pastry Chef to join the team on a full-time basis, you will need the following experience and attributes:

- 2+ years relevant experience in the industry.

- Knowledge around preparing pastry products including doughs, pastry fillings, cakes, buns, biscuits, and bread.

- An understanding of baking, shaping and decorating pastry and bread products.

- Worked in a quality restaurant, patisserie, cafe or hotel.

- Experience operating large machines including mixers, ovens, dough forming machines.

- An understanding of HACCP, hygiene practices and following WH&S.

- Can follow a recipe and accurately weigh ingredients.

- Good communication skills, attitude and be a team player.
