Our story
StateCover’s purpose is to keep people safe, well and working. We are the Mutual insurer of choice for NSW councils, founded 23 years ago by Members, for Members. We provide 131 local government entities with workers’ compensation insurance solutions, safety and wellbeing services and are trusted as their workforce risk and wellbeing experts for their 40,000 workers.
The opportunity
Join us in an exciting new role at StateCover, designed to make a genuine impact on the performance and capability of our Claims Team. In this role you’ll work closely with our Continuous Improvement Manager, Learning and Development Manager, and Claims Leadership Team to identify opportunities for growth and develop practical solutions that enhance our case management practices and improve claim outcomes.
This role is dedicated to enhancing the skills of our Case Managers. You’ll achieve this through leading the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, supporting the creation of training materials, and working directly with our Claims Team to strengthen their technical knowledge and expertise.
Your story
You're a collaborative, people-focused professional with a deep knowledge of workers compensation claims management and a drive for continuous improvement. You excel at identifying trends and uncovering the root causes of gaps in case management practices. Your insights are drawn from a combination of personal observations, quality assurance results, and broader data sources.
With a practical, solutions-oriented mindset, you’re confident in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, contributing to impactful training, and coaching team members to lift their capability. Most importantly, you’re someone who brings a positive energy to the workplace, actively contributing to a strong team culture which celebrates shared success.
