This is a 12-month contract with genuine potential to move into a long-term position across the Suncorp Group. You’ll play a key role in helping businesses get back on their feet after a loss — delivering exceptional service and best-in-market claims experiences.
About the Role
As a Commercial Property Claims Officer, you’ll manage a portfolio of commercial property claims from lodgement through to resolution. You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, and brokers to deliver timely, fair, and customer-focused outcomes.
You’ll also receive comprehensive training through our 6-week onboarding program, designed to set you up for success. During this period, 5 days per week office attendance is required to ensure hands-on learning and support.
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with customers, suppliers, and intermediaries.
- Oversee a portfolio of commercial property claims from start to finish.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing cost and ensuring efficient resolution.
- Provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders to maintain transparency.
- Review reports and information to determine next steps in the claims process.
- Apply product disclosure statements to assess claims fairly.
- Record accurate claim data in our management systems.
- Resolve issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
