About the Role
Reporting to the Retail Centre Manager and based at our retail sites, the Sales Consultant plays a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging vehicle sales journey. Representing brands such as Subaru, Peugeot, Deepal and Foton – a global leader in commercial vehicles now making its mark in Australia – you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers both in-store and online from their first enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up.
Your focus will be on delivering tailored solutions through exceptional service, expert product knowledge, and an ability to manage the end-to-end sales process with confidence. You will also be comfortable using digital tools such as Salesforce and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure every customer interaction is efficient,, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a personalised and engaging customer experience from enquiry through to delivery
- Showcase deep product knowledge to educate customers on vehicle features and benefits
- Manage the complete sales process including test drives, trade‑in evaluations, paperwork, and post‑sale follow‑ups
- Utilise Salesforce and other digital tools to accurately maintain customer records and manage sales activity
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver a consistent and flexible experience across all customer touchpoints
About You
You are a customer-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic sales environment. You are passionate about cars, technology, and helping people find the perfect solution for their needs. You bring a balance of sales drive and genuine care, always aiming to deliver above expectations.
Proven experience in automotive sales is essential.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
A genuine interest in the automotive industry and enthusiasm for the products we represent.
The ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital platforms.
Availability to work Saturdays (with a weekday off in lieu).
A valid driver’s licence.
