Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Promotions Coordinator to join our #1 station in Mackay, STAR 101.9. In this role no two days are the same and you’ll play a key role in bringing to life station events and activations in the local community. You’ll have the chance to work with all teams within the station as well as liaise with clients, listeners and prize winners regularly. About the role: - Help plan and execute live broadcasts, brand activations and station events. - Liaise with competition winners and arrange prizing. - Represent the STAR 101.9 brand at local events, working directly with listeners. - Assist with managing our social media platforms and driving engagement with the STAR101.9 brand. - Perform live on‑air crosses to update listeners on event activities, promotions, and giveaways. - Manage administrative tasks such as post campaign reporting, maintaining of the street team vehicles and sourcing props. - Work closely with all teams within the station including our sales and on‑air announcers.
