Key Responsibilities

Do you enjoy working in a busy school office environment? Areyou passionate about education data and compliance? We are seekinga detail-oriented Student Services Officer to join our SchoolAdministration team. This role plays a critical part in managingstudent attendance, co-ordinating the daily relief schedule, andpresenting a professional, welcoming service to our community.

The Student Services Officer is part of a team of threeofficers, who ensure the delivery of comprehensive support to ourstudents, staff, parents and wider community.

Duties:

- Co-ordinate the Secondary Teaching Staff daily reliefschedule, allocating reliefs as needed and liaising withexternal relief staff, to ensure all classes are covered.
- Manage the Staff and Community calendars.
- Assist Marketing with the production of the fortnightlySchool Newsletter.
- Manage the Consent2Go platform, for all excursions,incursions and camps.
- Co-ordinate the annual School Photograph days.
- Oversee SEQTA Daily Notices, providing an editing service,to ensure Notices are professionally presented.
- Support the Director of Students and the Wellbeing Team asneeded.
- Support the administrative and organisational needs ofSchool events, particularly in relation to Secondary SpeechNight.
- Provide assistance with student attendance management asneeded.
- Display high customer service skills when greeting visitorsor answering phone calls.
- Provide administrative support to students, staff andfamilies.
- Display high-level word processing and excel skills,including excel formulas and mail merge.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Essential qualities:

- Previous experience in a school administration or studentservices role, with a focus on attendance or reliefmanagement.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, andthe ability to manage competing deadlines.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, witha strong commitment to confidentiality andprofessionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team andindependently when required.

Desirable qualities:

- Proficiency in using SEQTA and Synergetic or otherinformation systems.

Relevant qualification and experiences will be accepted.Applicants will also need a valid Working with Children card(or willingness to obtain one).
