We’re on the lookout for a casual Head Chef to join our team at our Beach House Restaurant & Cafe site.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating delicious meals that fuel great experiences for our guests and residents — all while being part of a fun and supportive team

In this Role, You’ll

- Stock & Ordering: Ensure timely ordering, inspection, and stocking of all produce to support full catering service and minimize waste.

- Food Safety & Quality: Maintain FIFO rotation, monitor temperatures, and ensure proper storage to uphold food safety and quality standards.

- Menu Management: Develop and cost new menus, oversee daily specials, and ensure compliance with menu standards and procedures.

- Operational Readiness: Keep cooking stations stocked during peak hours and use all produce efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations.

- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of food quality and flavour, with customer satisfaction as the core focus.

- Operational Oversight: You manage recruitment, rosters, performance, and succession planning to ensure consistent coverage and team capability.

- Workplace Safety & Compliance: You uphold WHS and food safety standards through active risk management, accurate record-keeping, and proper use of approved chemicals and PPE.

- Skills & Experience: You apply your technical qualifications, leadership experience, and communication skills to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
