Details: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused System Support Officer to join our team.
ContrACTs is a critical platform used across the ACT Government to support the delivery, management, and reporting of government-led capital works projects. As part of a small, collaborative team, you will play a key role in supporting users across government and ensuring the smooth operation of the ContrACTs system.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for system users—managing the service desk inbox and phone line, providing system advice, troubleshooting issues, and escalating matters within the team or to the vendor as required. You will deliver high-quality customer service and contribute to the continuous improvement of system processes.
Working closely with Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) project officers, stakeholders across the broader ACT Government and external suppliers, you will help ensure the effective use of the ContrACTs platform. The role also provides general administrative support to the team, including coordinating training bookings, maintaining support records, and assisting with documentation.
Your strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to user-focused service will support the effective use and ongoing improvement of the ContrACTs system. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately up until 31 August 2026, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
