Business Development Manager - BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Aequalis Consulting is partnering with a leading energy firm to find a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth in the fast-evolving energy storage sector, helping shape the future of renewable energy solutions.

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving the expansion of BESS projects. If you’re a forward-thinking professional with a passion for innovation in energy storage, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the BESS market, focusing on large-scale energy storage projects.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry partners.

- Lead commercial negotiations, securing new projects and partnerships.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on business goals and project timelines.

- Stay informed of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the energy storage sector.

- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

About You

- 7+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on energy storage or renewable energy projects.

- Strong knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their role in the renewable energy landscape.

- Proven track record of driving new business, closing deals, and managing client relationships.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Relevant qualifications in engineering, energy, or a related field.
