About the Role

We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team in Milton, Brisbane.

In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to provide the structure, reporting, and coordination that keep our projects running smoothly. You’ll help ensure that project plans are accurate, resources are aligned, risks are managed, and progress is tracked, allowing our Project Managers to focus on strategic delivery and customer success.

You’ll also play an active role in maintaining quality, governance, and financial tracking across multiple projects, while occasionally leading smaller initiatives from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

- Partner with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

- Conduct regular resourcing analysis to identify and elevate potential or existing issues to senior management.

- Assist in preparing project status, financial, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Support the PMO Director in preparing consolidated program and portfolio reports.

- Coordinate project meetings, record action items, and ensure follow-up on outcomes.

- Contribute to process improvements by streamlining and automating administrative tasks.

- Assist in conducting project quality audits and ensuring compliance with governance and reporting standards.

- Provide administrative and analytical support across multiple projects to ensure transparency and effective delivery.

- Identify risks and recommend solutions for project issues, cost variances, or delivery challenges.

What You’ll Bring

- Demonstrated experience supporting project delivery in a PMO, IT, or engineering environment (1–3 years preferred).

- Strong administrative and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Confluence, or Salesforce (Certinia PSA).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.

- Understanding of project lifecycles, governance, and risk management principles.

- A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Desirable

- Experience coordinating or managing small projects.

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
