Urgent: Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Perth or Melbourne team for a motivated Electrical Project Manager. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop designs on various projects within the resource sector. Further to project responsibilities, this role poses a real opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in growth of the EMtek’s Team, becoming a key focal point for specific clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Management and ownership of multi-discipline design projects.
- Progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
- Scoping and proposal development.
- Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
- Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements.
- Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables.
- Visits to client sites as required.
- Represent EMtek throughout the complete project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and a commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. As part of a small, tight-knit team, strong relationship building, and communication skills will be critical in this role.

Skills and experience

- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of multidiscipline Project experience.
- Exposure to Materials handling related design projects, in both the Greenfields and Brownfields space.
- Detailed knowledge of materials handling industry.
- Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore, is favourable
- Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork and time management skills.
- Technical aptitude, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
