Renascor is offering an exciting opportunity to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting the company’s mission to power clean energy transition. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of financial operations and strategic initiatives to help drive Renascor’s success.

You will take ownership of a variety of accounting functions while working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate financial reporting, provide valuable insights, and maintain compliance standards. This position calls for great attention to detail, strong communication skills for collaboration, and a commitment to upholding financial excellence.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Accounting Functions: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations like accounts payable, payroll administration, and GST compliance, with support from your team.
- Monitor Financial Performance: Regularly review and analyse financial results to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights that help inform business decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial reports that guide decision-making and keep senior leadership and the Board informed.
- Support Business Initiatives: Work with project teams and business units by preparing business cases, assisting with decision-making processes, and compiling divisional reports for new opportunities or programs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports that clearly reflect the organisation’s financial position.
- Close Processes: Help manage month-end and year-end close processes efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining reporting standards.
- Ensure Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure quality control over all financial transactions and reporting activities while staying aligned with corporate policies and industry standards.

What You Bring:

- A tertiary qualification in a business-related field; CA/CPA qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience managing end-to-end accounting functions within medium or large organisations.
- A track record of reviewing financial results thoroughly while ensuring data integrity across reporting activities.
- Familiarity with preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reports that help guide strategic decisions at senior levels.
- Strong analytical skills applied to supporting project teams with business case preparation, divisional reporting, or financial analysis for new opportunities.
- Confidence in managing month-end/year-end close processes as well as being the key person responsible for the reporting process, including audits under tight deadlines.
