The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate litigater with 1 - 3 years PAE to join our general insurance team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will enjoy working across a diverse range of legally challenging and factually complex matters in the Government sector (with the opportunity for exposure to similar private sector claims if desired), including:

- Public Liability

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current New South Wales practising certificate

- Minimum 1 year’s post admission experience in general insurance matters

- Confidence to deal directly with clients

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

- Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields

- High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus

- Ability to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines

- A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively; and
