The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial oversight across multiple entities, including cash flow management, financial reporting, compliance, investment monitoring, and operational improvements. This is an ideal role for someone looking to utilise their finance expertise in a flexible working environment.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Director, your role will be pivotal in managing the financial oversight for both private mortgage lending and a private family office. You will be involved in cash flow management, financial reporting, treasury functions, compliance, investment monitoring, and operational improvements across multiple entities. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised as you work closely with the bookkeeper, accountant, external advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure all financial matters are handled professionally and efficiently.

- Work closely with the bookkeeper and accounting firm to oversee all statutory filings and annual tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements for all entities.
- Prepare quarterly financial accounts for all operating entities and liaise with accountants to finalise annual accounts.
- Monitor cash balances across entities and banks, ensuring excess funds are optimally invested.
- Manage third-party IT and software systems, optimising license fees and financial technology integrations.
- Coordinate with tax advisers on tax strategy, asset structuring, and regulatory considerations.
