OzTAM is Australia's official source of television audience measurement. VOZ (Virtual Australia) is the foundation of Australia's 'Total TV' measurement standard, bringing together broadcast viewing on TV sets and granular BVOD viewing on connected devices to provide truly national, de-duplicated, all-screen, cross-platform planning, trading and reporting for Australia's media industry. OzTAM also provides data solutions like VOZ Streaming for programmatic BVOD trading and Streamscape, a quarterly report offering a unified view of Total Video consumption across broadcast, BVOD, and streaming platforms.

Overview

OzTAM is seeking a highly capable and hands-on Finance Director & Company Secretary to oversee financial management, governance, and business affairs across the organisation. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the financial and operational direction of Australia's official television audience measurement service, a small but influential business with a significant footprint in the media industry.

POSITION DESCRIPTION – Finance Director & Company Secretary

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for all aspects of:

· Oversee accounting, financial management and reporting functions

· managing business affairs functions; and

· company secretarial functions for OzTAM Pty Limited.

Key areas of responsibility to include (but not limited to):

· Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day accounting function

· Manage OzTAM human resource function

· Liaise with and provision of monthly OzTAM financial reports to (and in conjunction with the CEO), the OzTAM Finance Advisory Committee

· Oversee Year end accounts preparation and reporting – including managing annual external independent audit.

· Preparation of the Annual Budget with CEO and presentation to the Board for approval

· Assist preparation of annual Business Plan

· Liaise with OzTAM insurance brokers, and organisation of corporate insurances

· Seek advice and liaise with OzTAM legal advisors on business affairs matters arising, as required

· Quarterly monitoring and reporting of OzTAM's main service contractor's KPI and abatement progress and reporting outcomes to the Board

· Management of the Work, Health & Safety function

· Manage OzTAM office leasehold and issues arising

· Perform the role of Company Secretary – including responsibility for:

·  Managing preparation and distribution of Board Papers

·  Running of Board meetings – in conjunction with OzTAM Chairman

·  Distribution of Minutes and management of follow up items

· ASIC statutory obligations

· Production of OzTAM Rate Card on an annual basis

· Manage annual Agency review of billings to determine licence fees payable by each Agency

· Manage preparation of Subscriber Licence Agreements on an annual basis

· Manage, in conjunction with CEO, key corporate contracts and issues arising –

· Assist, as required, the management of OzTAM development projects – currently focused on Virtual Australia (VOZ) Database and BVOD Product
