Overview

Communications Officer – Government Agency | 6-Month Contract | Fremantle & Kwinana

Join a government agency as a Communications Officer on a 6-month contract, delivering engaging internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement communication strategies for projects and initiatives.
- Write and edit content for intranet, newsletters, and publications.
- Support managers with effective internal communications.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for campaigns.
- Coordinate activities in line with communications plans.

Skills & Experience

- Qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, or similar.
- Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Operations communications experience desirable.

Role Details

- Location: Fremantle & Kwinana (1 day per week in Kwinana)
- Hours: Mon–Fri, 40 hours per week
- Duration: 6 months – ASAP start
- Rate: $64.93 per hour + super
