About the Role
Join our team as an Aboriginal Cross-Cultural Project Officer and play a vital role in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people in the Flinders & Upper North region. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of the Aboriginal Cross-Cultural Education Package and skill‑building workshops for health staff, while supporting service coordination to strengthen culturally safe care. Working collaboratively with health units, community councils, service providers, and other stakeholders, you’ll help reduce duplication, enhance service distribution, and contribute to key performance outcomes in Aboriginal Health. This is an opportunity to use your expertise and leadership to create meaningful, lasting change in the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal communities.

About You
- Experience in the development and delivery of cross‑cultural education programs.
- Experience in researching and report writing.
- Experience in working with community groups.

- Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network has determined that an exemption to prefer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants granted by the Equal Opportunity Tribunal of South Australia under sections 34(2) and 56(2) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA) applies to this position. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is considered essential and therefore a Confirmation of Aboriginality may be requested.
- This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
