About the role

The Project Support Officer provides essential administrative and financial support across the entire ICT Services project portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditure, reconciliation of invoices, and management of accruals. Operating within a dynamic project environment, the role supports project managers and teams by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and coordinating project documentation. The officer contributes to the smooth delivery of projects by assisting with governance processes, scheduling, and stakeholder communications. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across the portfolio and is suited to a detail‑oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.

Special Conditions

The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- Out of hours work may be required, including intrastate and interstate.

- Eligibility to work in Australia.

- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program.
