Job Description

The Member Engagement Coordinator is a critical commercial role responsible for driving member engagement, increasing share of wallet, and contributing to Perth Zoo's revenue and mission. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategies that enhance member satisfaction, visitation, and loyalty. The coordinator will work collaboratively across departments to deliver compelling member experiences and ensure the membership program supports Perth Zoo's conservation and community engagement goals. This role assists and works collaboratively with the broader Commercial and Community Engagement Directorate (Commercial Development, System Administrator, Marketing, Events) as required. At ZPA, we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provide a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector. In this role, you will demonstrate Personal Leadership to help drive positive change.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following criteria. These should be addressed in no more than two (2) pages in total.

- Proven experience in member engagement, community management, or customer relationship roles, with a sales-minded approach to program coordination.

- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business KPIs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve member engagement.

- Experience with e-commerce and customer management systems.
